So that’s exactly what Friends of Wild Iris decided to do… Starting in January 2012, we’ll create a intimate, thought provoking, knowledge increasing, safe space for people to discuss these books and analyze what they mean for our lives and what lessons we can take with us from these pioneers in feminist literature.
Meetings will be held the Third Tuesday of every month from 7-8pm at Wild Iris Books.
Some of us will gather before the meeting from 6-7pm so that we can grab dinner and drinks from Cafe Colette – and we invite you to join us for good eats to fuel our minds for discussion time…
This reading group is free and open to anybody who is interested…
Mention that you’re purchasing the title to participate in the reading club and you’ll save 10% off the purchase price – you can also reserve your copy on wildirisbooks.com – just be sure to put “Feminist Reading Group” in the comment section of your order at check out.
To keep your anticipation high, here’s the first few books that will be on the agenda.

February21, Cunt: A Declaration of Independence, Inga Muscio
